About Us
VGB Welding Ltd. is a family owned manufacturing and portable welding company. It's owned and operated by Vince & Cheryl Bernicot out of their Acme, AB based fabrication shop.
I, Vince Bernicot, have been in the oil and gas industry since 1987 and have worked at many large industrial plants such as C.N.R.L.'S Horizon site, Suncore's Firebag site, and Shell Canada's Norman Well's gas plant. I have been part of several prototype projects such as blow out provention flat decks, seacan gen shacks and most notably pipe matic 3000 (automated drill stem handling system). And of course, our own line of portable flare units.
I can provide you with good quality stick, mig, flux, core and metal core welding; as well as carbon arc gouging. I also have 10 years of experience fitting and reading prints and have built many different products. I am very hard working and reliable, and can be counted on to bring a good attitude to the job every day!
